Our holiday begins with visits to the old palace of Durbar Square and astounding Boudanath Stupa, a world heritage site, before hopping off on 22 minute flight to the tranquil lakeside town of Pokhara where our trek commences. The trek in between the various lodges is approximately five hour slow walk through a luxuriant rural setting with a backdrop of the majestic peaks of Annapurna and Machhapuchare ( Mt. Fishtail ). We pass through a number of typical Nepali villages where people go about their business.
The stay at the lodges provide simple yet comfortable facilities like relaxing lounges, hot showers, flushable toilets, electricity and will help you to rejuvenate after a long trek/walk.. After the trek on the foothills, we make our way to the luxury of Fishtail Lodge to enjoy the evenings in serene and scenic surroundings. We recuperate and fly back to Kathmandu.
Staying at lodge located just above the city, with fantastic views, we visit the historical and cultural city of Bhaktapur with its traditional architectural wonders and Newari craftsmanship at its best on display before we spend the last night in Kathmandu.
